| A vehicle completely out of contact with the ground requires a reasonable amount of attention. This team chose to stabilize the front of the upper vehicle with 1 box crib, 2 Res-Q-Jack® adjustable stands and a chain saddle. |
The rear of the vehicle is stabilized with 2 Res-Q-Jack™ Jack Stands, 3 tie lines, and 1 picket. The tie line attached to the picket is meant to keep the vehicle from moving forward. |
| Once both vehicles are stabilized, the Port Orange, FL team begins access operations |
The Jack Stands permitted the crew to gently lift the rear of the upper vehicle off the passenger side of the lower vehicle’s roof. The team then began to tunnel in toward driver compartment. |
