 At 1740 Company 13, Squad 13, Squad 4, and Medic 14 were dispatched for MVA unknown PI or entrapment on Goodview Road in the area of Goodview Grocery. BCoFR Medic 14 was first to arrive to find a two vehicle accident with one vehicle overturned with entrapment and the other vehicle's occupant ejected. Co.8 (Moneta) offered assistance due to Medic 14's size up which 1312 (Capt Minnix) advised them to respond an engine company to possibly set up a landing zone. Engine 13 (w/5) arrived, 1312 established the command and advised Rescue 13 (w/6) they would be going to work on the overturned SUV. E-13 stretched their 1.75" attack line manned by E-13 and W-83 personnel while E-13's ALS provider (K. Silvers) assisted Medic 14 with patient care. The ejected driver of the other SUV was pronounced on scene. R-13 arrived and split it's crew to put the rescue jacks and pickett system in place and begin the side roof roll on the vehicle. After the extrication was completed, the patient was turned over to EMS and prepared for transport to the LZ. AC-13 (A. Dooley) established the LZ Command at a site near the accident scene in Brush 13. After the patient was transported to the LZ, Co. 13 and 8 units returned to service.
