Members of the Freehold Township Independent Fire Company receive
training on new rescue/stabilization equipment from Res-Q-Jack. This
equipment helps stabilize vehicles when people are trapped or pinned
needing to be extricated from the vehicle. In addition to fire fighting
responsibilities, the firefighters from Station 16-1 are also
responsible for performing extrication at motor vehicle accidents
within their fire district.
The rescue equipment is stored and transported in the departments heavy rescue truck, 16-1-87.
