The Fire Department has recently purchased new equipment to help make car accidents a little safer for the firefighters on scene. Res-Q-Jacks vehicle stabilization were recently purchased through the State Equipment Grant program. To make things safer on the highway, ANSI type II reflective vests have been purchased as well as a 3M Reflective Accident Ahead sign. These go along with the cones and LED lights that were placed in service on Special Hazards.
Instruction was provided by John Silva from Firematic.
