An MVA in Spencer, NY in October of 1999 left this car resting in a precarious position.  The car came to rest leaning against a tree with the nose of the vehicle hanging over a steep embankment.  The Res-Q-Jack™ jack unit made quick work of pinning the car against the tree to remove any movement in the vehicle.  The rear of the vehicle was also tied back to a tree with a come-along and chain.  With the vehicle stabilized, the glass and rear door were quickly removed to gain access to the injured patient in the rear seat.   We were pretty shorthanded with a total extrication crew of 3 responding, but we each did our job and did it fast without compromising safety.  The speed of the Res-Q-Jack™  setup was definitely a contributing factor in the success of the operation.
